Our Services

The Prince of Wales Department of Community Health provides a range of services to the local government areas of Randwick, Botany, and parts of the City of Sydney. Some specialist services are provided to the Waverley, Woollahra and inner City areas.

These services are designed to help people live at home following an illness, injury, hospitalisation or for palliative care.

They are designed for adults and older people, the young disabled, people with a continence problem, women, aboriginals, people living with HIV/AIDS and adults with a psycho-social problem.

Rehabilitation programs can be implemented.

We provide assessment for nursing home and hostels (ACAT).

We have a combined equipment lending pool with Programs of Aids for Disabled People (PADP).

Our health promoting programs are designed to maintain levels of fitness for the well and others that have chronic problems or illness.
