Item Definition
Total separations for current month = number of patients separated in this month
Total separations coded for current month = number of separations coded for patients who were discharged in this month only, including seps coded by contractors or during O/T, and indexed seps.
Total separations coded in this month = actual number of separations coded in this month - include seps coded for previous months (i.e. regardless of month of separation), including seps coded by contractors or during O/T, and indexed seps.
% separations coded for this month = percentage of this months separations coded as at the end of the month (not updated monthly).
(total separations coded for current month, divided by total separations for current month), multiplied by 100.
% 2000/2001 Separations coded = percentage of each months separations coded as at report date.  (Source: ISCOS)
Total coding hours established = total coding hours you should have = working days x no. established coders x 7.6.
Total coding hours available = total coding hours actually have = working days x no. actual coders x 7.6.  Excludes coding & O/T hours.
Total actual coding overtime hours = total number of coding overtime hours.
Total contract coding hours = total number of contracted coding hours.
Total coding leave hours = (leave working days x no. coders taken leave x 7.6)
Total actual coding hours = (available hours plus contractor & O/T hours), minus leave hours.
Separations coded per actual coding hour = average number of records coded per coder per hour.
(actual seps coded in this month / total actual coding hours)
NSW Sanctions Incurred = Fines imposed on the sites as a result of late or poor quality data submission.
