Movable
heritage refers to any natural or manufactured object of heritage
significance. Within SEH, such items include but are not limited to
hospital equipment, furniture, uniforms, photographs and other
memorabilia.
This
policy, the first of its kind in South East Health and NSW Health,
provides direction for the collection and upkeep or protection of movable
heritage items. It promotes a co-ordinated approach to ensure the
preservation and management of health heritage in SEH can be assured. |
