Staff from the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program offer advice about child and adolescent mental health to health services and other organisations in the area.

Some of the work that staff are involved in includes:

  • Positive Parenting Project
  • Preventing mental health problems in children with chronic physical illness
  • The "School Link" project
  • Suicide prevention project
  • Co-ordination of mental health services for people with intellectual disabilities
  • Developing services for children whose parents have a mental illness
  • Developing services for women with peri-natal mental health problems.
